Hey guys! How was everyone week? I am so happy it is Friday, because this week has been very busy besides I been sick all week! I have a fever/flu! Instead of me to be getting my rest as prescribed by my mum/doctor, I am on blogger! I am sure this could pass as a form of relaxation coz most of y'all know how to make me laugh.

Secondly, can I get a standing ovation for the New President of the United States of America, Mr Barack Hussein Obama? On Tuesday, I was up at 6am and went to bed a 3am. The entire time my computer was logged onto www.cnn.com/live. I Loved their partnership with facebook. It made watching the inauguration more fun. I watched every single thing. I think I kinda went overboard, but Oh well. I am so proud of him and his accomplishments thus far. I am just hoping we are all very patient with him, because he has inherited a lot of work and it would take a lot of time to put America where it once used to be.

Hating, Swaaga and Fierce!

Hey guys how is everyone doing. we are now almost at the middle of January and God has remained as faithful in my life so far. This post is going to be a rant( very un serious rant) of some sorts so here we go.

There are three words that I feel should be demolished, eradicated, banned,erased *all other synonyms welcome* with the year 2008. They are SWAGGER, FIERCE, AND HATING. I shall start with the latter.

Hating, I have tried to look for who to blame and I will go with Maino and that his ridiculous yet catchy song "Hi Hater". Since that song was released last summer, every Tom , Dick, Harry, Akin, Emeka, and Suliat think they have a hater and some. When you give constructive criticism to a friend, your a hater, when someone asks you for an opinion, if you do not agree with theirs, you are a hater, If you do not think Rhianna's fashion style is all that and a bag of chips. you are hater.Everyday on facebok, you most see someone give a "shout out" to their haters or tell their haters to "go and die" and the one that annoys me the most is the name of the aforementioned song "hi haters..bye haters" lol. If we are all haters of each other, with the way these word has been used in 2008, then that means we are are all doing something right. SO PLEASE THIS IS 2009 stop saying somebody is hating on you. No we are not hating..WE SPEAKETH THE TRUTH...it just hurts sometimes.

Fierce, I blame his one on Tyra Banks and her ANTM show. She is always on about how "oh that is so fierce girl" and "damn girl give me fierce". That even Beyonce named her alter ego Sasha Fierce, lol. When I look at peoples pictures on facebook these days and you most see at least one person use the word fierce. People do you know what the word fierce means? wearing white jeans with a pink shirt is not fierce IMO. lol. its 2009 lets keep it real with our friends. Tell them they look cute, or pretty. Not fierce.

Swagga. I am going to blame the entire hip hop industry for this one, but mostly T.I, Kanye and Diddy..lol Please guys listen and listen carefully. NO you do not have swagga. No I am not trying to swagga jack you. No I am not feeling your swagg. It 2009 please try to look suave, pristine, clean. lol I have enough swagg of my own I DONT NEED YOURS!

I have taking it upon myself to put an end to these words in 2009. lol please join me in this campaign if you feel my plight. this has been a public service announcement by Ms O.

Hey guys Happy New year!!! 2009 is here and I am very excited at the opportunity to start over and propel myself towards my destiny.On the 31st in my home church they discussed doing things God's way instead of our way i.e when God made us, he had a destiny made out for us, its the choices we make that derail us from these destiny's, therefore from today onward, I would only proceed with something after God has giving me the go ahead and with this attitude, I should be on the right part to great success. I am wishing everyone in blog ville a very Happy New Year, this year would be full of divine increase in all aspects of our lives and whatever goals we have set respectively He would increase it and he will make them come through! Our best in 2008 will become our worst in 2009 in Jesus name AMEN!.

Now I am done with that, I am back in school and I am excited for this semester as it just means i am closer to finishing my undergrad! There have been bad times and good times during the duration of this degree but with God everything has become very possible. 2009 for me is a year of increase. I want to find my purpose on earth. I want to inspire other people. I want to live the life God has destined for me. I am very excited for this year. I am feeling very good about every aspect of my life. even though 2008 didn't end the way i wanted it to relationship wise, I am grateful to God for everything. I am strong, I am wiser, I am better much better!

P.S The ex-BF called me on Christmas day and we had not spoken since like December 6th, MOST AWKWARD CONVERSATION OF MY LIFE. I really do not think I want to get back into the relationship, oh well just thought I should let you guys know.
